The Children's Book Council of Australia, SA Branch (CBCASA) arecreating the CBCA 2021 Book of the Year Announcement film that will be released on August 20th at 11:30 am (Adelaide time) throughout Australia.
We invite you to submit films to be included in this Book of the Year Announcement film.
All films must be based in South Australia.
Make a 1-2 minute film that highlights your school, local area, organisation, special event or a tourist attraction to be part of the CBCA Book Week Film.
This film will be shown to thousands of children and adults nationally.
Your film must visually incorporate the 2021 CBCA Book Week theme words, "Old Worlds, New Worlds, Other Worlds". Be inventive!
Sound will be edited out, so visuals are important.
We would love to have children as a part of the movie but it is not essential.
All participants filmed must complete the individual digital release form (see attached form).These need to be kept by your organisation for up to 7 years. Do not send them to CBCASA Branch.
You will need to provide the signed digital release/entry form (see attached form) with your film to indicate that everyone involved has given their permission as stated above.
You may also need to obtain permission from councils or premise owners to film on their land/property.
Corporate branding must not be displayed ie, "Coke a Cola", Apple" logo etc. If you have any queries please contact BOYAFILMS2021@gmail.com
All films must be presented as mp4 or mkv.Please provide the highest quality of film that you can.
Please send us a link to your Dropbox folder or Google doc containing your film or submit your film via file transfer to this address BOYAFILMS2021@gmail.com
Closure date for submitting the film is June 30th, 2021.If you submit after the deadline date you may not be included.
Films will be selected at the discretion of the CBCASA Branch.We may choose to only use a portion of your film and may alter the footage sequence.
You will be notified that CBCASA has received your film within 24-48 hours (business hours).
